The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has busted operations of illegal NIN enrolment centres and arrested scores in Abuja and different places.
NIMC, by way of its Inspectorate Compliance and Enforcement Unit (ICEU), stated it stepped up its crackdown on the illegal centres for unauthorised information modification and extortion.
NIMC in an announcement on Monday stated its current enforcement operation in Gwagwalada and different places had led to a number of arrests and the seizure of illegal enrolment gear.
