President Bola Tinubu congratulates Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the Chairman/CEO of the Nigerian Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), on her birthday at this time.
Mrs Dabiri-Erewa chaired the House Committee on Media & Publicity. She headed the House Committee on Diaspora Affairs whereas representing her Ikorodu Constituency within the House of Representatives from 2003 to 2015.
President Tinubu describes the celebrant as a faithful public servant and a dedicated social gathering devoted who began her profession as a broadcaster with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).
“Abike has demonstrated love for the nation and humanity over a few years by persistently putting the welfare and well-being of the underprivileged on the centre of her work.
“I’ve famous the eagerness, diligence, and foresight that Dabiri-Erewa brings to her work as a journalist, lawmaker, and chief govt of NIDCOM, significantly her historic roles in pursuing social justice for Nigerians at dwelling and overseas.
“Her patriotic function in attracting Diaspora skills to contribute to the nation’s growth, significantly in schooling, well being, and sports activities, is commendable. She has justified the awards and recognition which have come her means.
“As you mark another special day, I pray for God’s blessings, wisdom and good health to carry on the good work you are championing,” the President says.
