The Presidential Working Group has stated it could transmit the National Policing Bill to the National Assembly within the subsequent two weeks.
Chief of Staff to the President and Chairman of the Group, Femi Gbajabiamila, acknowledged this on Thursday whereas talking to journalists after the steering committee assembly on the State House in Abuja.
He stated, “The National Policing Bill is kind of prepared for transmission to the National Assembly. We will in all probability have yet another assembly after this to cross the t’s and dot the i’s and ensure each space is roofed. So, we’re 90% prepared.
