Many burnt to death as fuel tanker explodes in Edo – Daily Trust

Many individuals are feared to have been killed, whereas 10 others sustained various levels of accidents, when a fuel tanker fell and exploded alongside Oluku on the Benin-Lagos street in Edo State, on Thursday.

The incident occurred at about 4 a.m. when the ill-fated petrol tanker making an attempt to make a U-turn close to Oluku Market fell and spilled its contents on the street.

Witnesses mentioned shortly after the tanker fell, residents and different passers-by rushed to the scene and commenced scooping fuel from the street and drainage channels.
