Niger State Governor, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago has delivered a N100 million cheque to the Governing Council of the Federal University of Technology FUT, Minna because the state authorities contribution for the development of hostel lodging for Students.
Members of the Governing Council, led by the Chairman and Pro-Chancellor of the University, Dr. Muhammad Kudu Santuraki have been on the Council Chamber of the Government House, Minna to obtain the cheque.
The farmer Governor restated his dedication to partnering with the Institution for the advantage of the citizenry.
The Pro-Chancellor of the University, Dr. Muhammad Kudu Santuraki, appreciated the farmer Governor for the type gesture and guaranteed him that the funds might be judiciously used.
Recall that farmer Governor Umaru Bago had on the fifth of this month introduced the donation of N100 million to FUT Minna, to facilitate the development of hostels for college kids.
