AG Mortgage Bank Plc has introduced the appointment of Chieduzie Ogbuehi, as its substantive Company Secretary, efficient from September 24, 2026.
Chieduzie is a company providers govt and authorized skilled with over 15 years of expertise advising Boards and govt administration on personnel administration, authorized, regulatory and dispute decision issues.
According to a press release, his appointment additional strengthens AG Mortgage Bank Plc’s dedication to sound company governance, regulatory compliance and efficient institutional administration because the Bank continues to advance its place in Nigeria’s mortgage and housing finance sector.
Prior to becoming a member of AG Mortgage Bank Plc, Chieduzie held management roles together with Head of Corporate Services at James Cubitt, the place he headed the Human Resources, Legal and Company Secretariat features. Before then, he served because the Head of Corporate and Commercial Transactions at Canaan Partners. He started his mortgage Banking journey as a Legal Officer at Haggai Mortgage Bank Limited.
Chieduzie is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Associate of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators, Nigeria (ACIS), Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (ACTI), Fellow of the Institute of Credit Administration (FICA), Member of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators (MCArb), and is registered with the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN).
As substantive Company Secretary, Chieduzie will proceed to assist AG Mortgage Bank Plc’s dedication to robust company governance, regulatory compliance and efficient Board and administration processes, whereas contributing to the Bank’s continued progress and institutional improvement.
