Veteran Nollywood actor, Francis Duru has reportedly handed away following a brief illness, in line with an announcement attributed to his household.
The household introduced his demise within the early hours of Friday, October 23, 2026, in a press release shared on the actor’s verified Instagram account, @francis.duru.
The assertion learn: “We, the household of Francis Duru, remorse to announce his passing following a brief illness. We respect your prayers, love, and understanding. May his soul relaxation in good peace. Amen.”
The actor’s demise comes about two years after he suffered the lack of his youngest son, Ifeanyi, in 2024.
