The Senate, on Tuesday, confirmed the nomination of Engr. Sani Mohammed Ndanusa as a Non-Career Ambassador/High Commissioner of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The affirmation adopted the presentation and adoption of a report by the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, chaired by Senator Sani Abubakar (Niger North), which screened the nominee following his nomination by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
During plenary, the Senate President offered the suggestions of the Committee of the Whole, which scrutinized the screening report submitted by the Foreign Affairs Committee.Following a unanimous affirmative voice vote by lawmakers, the Senate President formally declared the nominee confirmed.
