Nigerian singer Abiye Jumbo, generally known as Mr 2Kay, has revealed that his file label solely gave him N2 million from the N10 million compensation he acquired from the administration of Eko Hotel and Suites after being assaulted and robbed within the facility by armed males reportedly despatched by his colleague, Burna Boy, in 2017.

Speaking in a latest interview with Yanga FM Lagos, Mr 2Kay stated he left his file label as a result of of how they dealt with the compensation cash.
“When Burna Boy sent boys to beat me up in Eko Hotel, the boys attacked me and ended up robbing me. Eko Hotel later compensated me with N10 million but my record label gave me only N2 million out of it. So, I left the record label,” he stated.

Mr 2Kay revealed that he’s now a music govt, stressing that the enterprise is profitable.
Recall that on October 22, 2017, after performing on the Buckwyld ‘n’ Breathless live performance at Eko Hotel and Suites, Mr 2Kay was overwhelmed, tied up and robbed at gunpoint in his resort room by males posing as room service.

The Lagos State Police Command arrested 4 suspects—together with Burna Boy’s street supervisor, Joel Kantiok. The suspects confessed throughout interrogation that they have been employed and paid by Burna Boy to show Mr 2Kay a lesson.
Burna Boy was declared wished, later turned himself in to the police, and was arraigned on the Ikeja Magistrates’ Court in December 2017 on two counts of conspiracy and accent to armed theft, earlier than being granted bail.
Mr 2Kay later withdrew the case from court docket after Burna Boy tendered an apology.

In August 2021, a viral video surfaced displaying Burna Boy and Mr 2Kay hanging out collectively at a Lagos nightclub, formally placing their 4-yr beef behind them.
