The father of a 30-year-old man allegedly stabbed by his 18-year-old spouse in Dass Local Government Area of Bauchi State has recounted how his son escaped an alleged attempt to slit his throat earlier than being stabbed within the abdomen hours later.

The Bauchi State Police Command had earlier confirmed the arrest of Fatima Dalha over the alleged stabbing of her husband, Usama, throughout a home dispute in Lirr Bajar, Dass LGA.
The police mentioned the incident occurred at about 6 am on Sunday, October 25, 2026, following a disagreement over cash, wrappers and a telephone allegedly within the husband’s possession.
