The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, has directed companies beneath his ministry to accentuate public training and awareness campaigns following the affirmation of an Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) case within the Federal Capital Territory.
The companies embody the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), Voice of Nigeria (VON) and News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) confirmed the case in a girl who not too long ago travelled to Abuja from Uganda. She is at present in isolation and receiving therapy, whereas well being authorities have recognized and are monitoring her contacts.
