Bishop Chris Kwakpovwe, writer of the favored Christian devotional Our Daily Manna, ODM, has expressed deep sorrow over the reported loss of life of former Delta State Governor, Dr Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan, on the age of 71.
The famend cleric described the former governor as a man of remarkable humility, generosity and unwavering passion for God, recalling the connection they shared through the years.
Reacting to the information, Kwakpovwe described Uduaghan as a lover of God, noting that past his accomplishments in public workplace, the former governor demonstrated a real dedication to his religion and the development of God’s work.
“He was one of my believers in the ODM vision, and I can confidently say that he was a man who had a passion for God,” the bishop stated, reflecting on the private qualities that endeared the former governor to him.
Recounting a significantly unforgettable encounter, Kwakpovwe revealed how Uduaghan as soon as personally drove him away from a campaign floor in Delta State after an awesome crowd made it extraordinarily tough for him to depart the venue.
“He is the only governor who once drove me in his car out of a crusade ground in Delta State because the crowd was so much that it became hectic for me to leave,” the cleric recalled.
