Desola Afod retracts warning to film practitioner amid backlash

Desola Afod, the ex-wife of film director Kunle Afod, has publicly retracted her warning to Yoruba film practitioners.

DAILY POST studies that Desola has been dealing with backlash on social media after accusing Yoruba film practitioners of disrespecting her.

In her warning to the trade, the 44-year-old mentioned many actors referred to as her title with out displaying her respect.

Reacting to her feedback, a number of actors, together with Wumi Toriola, criticised her for calling out your entire trade as an alternative of naming the one that allegedly disrespected her.

Speaking amid the criticism, Desola retracted her warning in a publish on her Instagram web page.

“Whatever statement I made generally concerning “Àwọn ọmọ Tíátíà”, I hereby retract and take it again. I don’t imply to generalise or refer to everybody within the trade. The few those that did me soiled know themselves.”

Responding to Wumi’s assertion about her marriage, Desola mentioned, “One thing remains unchanged: MY NAME IS STILL DESOLA AFOD, CELEB WIFE, TILL THE END OF TIME 100.”
