A Yobe State High Court sitting in Damaturu has sentenced a 45-year-old man, Abubakar Musa, popularly referred to as Daddy, to demise by hanging for killing his spouse, Ammi Adamu Mamman.
The convict was arrested by operatives of the Yobe State Police Command on January 4, 2024, following the demise of his 42-year-old spouse at their residence in New Bra-Bra Housing Estate, Damaturu.
He was subsequently charged with culpable murder.
