The convoy of the Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Abubakar Suleiman, was concerned in a highway accident on its method again to Bauchi after a marketing campaign flag-off in Burra in Ningi Local Government Area.
The incident reportedly occurred after the marketing campaign flag-off of Ibrahim Tanko Burra, who represents Burra Constituency within the state House of Assembly.
A press release issued on Tuesday by the Speaker’s spokesman, Mukhtar Garba Kobi, stated two automobiles within the convoy veered off the highway.
The assertion stated no life was lost and no main damage was recorded within the incident.
It added that the Speaker was protected as his car was not affected by the accident.
According to the assertion, occupants of the affected automobiles obtained medical consideration and had returned house.
The Speaker expressed appreciation to those that supplied fast help to the victims, in addition to residents of Burra, Ningi and Bauchi State for his or her prayers, assist and solidarity.
He described the incident as an act of future and urged his supporters to stay calm, law-abiding and prayerful.
