Troops of the Nigerian Army beneath Sector 2, Operation FANSAN YAMMA, have rescued two kidnapped individuals during a search operation round Bagega in Zamfara State.
The operation was carried out on October 26, 2026, following experiences of suspicious actions by terrorists in the Bagega normal space.
According to army sources, the troops swiftly mobilised and launched a search operation, resulting in the profitable rescue of the victims, recognized as Shehu Chete, 40, and Bugu Bedi, 25, each from Zuru Local Government Area of Kebbi State.
The rescued victims had been instantly evacuated for medical consideration and are presently receiving mandatory care.
The Army stated troops stay deployed in the realm to make sure public security and stop additional legal actions.
