The Mexican authorities has formally permitted Reno Omokri’s appointment as Nigeria’s ambassador to Mexico, bringing an eight-month await diplomatic clearance to an finish.
Omokri introduced the event in a submit on X on Tuesday, saying the Mexican authorities had granted the diplomatic approval, identified as agrément, required for his appointment.
According to him, José Manuel Briseño Flores, chargé d’affaires of the Embassy of Mexico in Abuja, offered the formal approval to Babagana Wakil, director of protocol at Nigeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
