It is with profound sorrow and a deep sense of loss that I acquired the information of the passing of His Royal Highness, Eze Francis Eze Igwe, the revered Agom Ugabala II of Ndufu Alike Autonomous Community, Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
The passing of a revered conventional ruler, politician, educationist, and administrator is just not merely the lack of a person; it’s the lack of a custodian of tradition, a repository of knowledge, and a logo of unity whose life and repair have left an everlasting imprint on his individuals.
His Royal Highness, Francis Eze Igwe, occupied a place of honour and accountability in his group. As a conventional ruler, he represented the cherished values of our indigenous establishments, which proceed to play an vital position in preserving our cultural heritage, selling communal concord, and fostering peace and understanding amongst our individuals.
His departure is a painful loss to his speedy household, the Ndufu Alike Autonomous Community, the individuals of Ikwo, and all the Ebonyi State. His reminiscence will stay a supply of reflection and inspiration to those that knew him and to the generations that may carry ahead the traditions and values he represented.
I prolong my condolences to his son, His Excellency, Dr Eric Kelechi Igwe, former Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State; his speedy and prolonged household; associates; and the State Traditional Council.
