The Jigawa State Government has attributed the delay in the discharge of National Examinations Council (NECO) results for college students in public secondary colleges to a failed bank transaction involving cost to the examination physique.
State Commissioner for Higher Education, Prof. Isa Chamo, disclosed this whereas reacting to the delay in releasing the NECO results.
He defined that the delay was attributable to a banking downside that affected the cost made by the state authorities to NECO.
According to him, “the result delay is as a result of failed bank transfer, funds paid to NECO were returned due to a bank transaction problem”
He stated the state authorities had instantly taken steps to appropriate the state of affairs and reprocessed the cost.
He stated the matter had been absolutely resolved after NECO confirmed receipt of the cost, paving the best way for college students in public colleges to entry their results.
Chamo assured that the affected college students would be capable of examine their results on the NECO portal from 6pm on Tuesday.
He urged college students, dad and mom and guardians to stay calm, stressing that the state authorities had settled all excellent examination charges and resolved the problem with NECO.
