The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has formally declared Malam Muhammad Nami because the Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Niger State.
Nami title was among the many 15 candidates whose names had been revealed on the INEC headquarters, these cleared to contest had been Alidu Mohammed of AAC, Mohammed Kpautagi ADC, Idris Mohammed ADP, the incumbent Mohammed Umaru Bago of APC, Mohammed Adamu APGA,

Amid Jubilation among the many supporters of Nami following a press assertion launched by the Muhammad Nami Media Directorate on the weekend in Minna, Niger State the supporters expressed pleasure.
The assertion reads: “The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has revealed its remaining listing of gubernatorial candidates for the February 6, 2027 governorship election and listed Mallam Muhammad Nami because the Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Niger State.
“This growth authenticates the candidature of Mallam Muhammad Nami because the Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and clearly exhibits that he’s not affected by the latest judgment obtained by INEC on the Supreme Court.
“By this growth, all supporters of Muhammad Nami are urged to gather their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) within the ongoing PVC assortment train being carried out by INEC in readiness to vote for the candidate of the PDP as Governor of Niger State within the 2027 General Elections, to place Niger State again on the observe of progress and greatness.
